I bought this camera a month ago. struggling to use it. How do you change the ISO? I take photos after 7 pm. I love to take photos of humming birds that visit my garden. I would like to have a high ISO? How do I do this in this camera?

It's most easily done in the Super Control Panel.  You'll need to activate it (P73, and P84 in the manual).

Setting the default Auto ISO Range is useful too. (P56)

If you have not done it yet, you need to hit the menu button, and in the set-up menu activate the gears menu display first. (p112)

I have the super control. I can change the ISO in shooting modes, A, P, S, M but not in SCN. Pl. let me know why it is. Thank you

Those various modes represent preset combinations of settings and by definition cannot be changed.

Yup.  This is why we have the Program mode.  It allows you to set only the ISO and leave everything else as Auto (except choosing flash), if that is what you desire to do.
