New Camera

5 years 2 months ago #438946 by VictorsValiant
I just got a new FUJI S9950W and have been trying it out the last few days.  I have been comparing pics of the same scene with my Nikon P510.   Some of the Fuji look better some same and some a little more grainy.  This photo looks like it is a little grainy when viewing at 100%.   Any comments?   Thanks.

I agree there seems to be more noise than I'd expect in the shadows.  Have you processed the image at all?

I can't remember if I PP this or not. I don't think so.

There is no noise problem with this image. The image is excellent noise wise considering it came from such a small sensor. I'm not sure what you were expecting but the camera did a great job here. The noise in this image will never be seen if printed.
