What do you have going for the weekend?

They are all well, thanks.

Weekend is like any other day.
We get up and decide what to do with the day. Mainly we stay at home.

Not even going to head out this year.  I think some of our neighbors are planning to have some fireworks.  I may head out and see about getting some fireworks.  Not sure yet.

Same to you, we just finished up.  Just family over this year.  But a good night.  Ended up playing some poker after BBQ and won $71.  Considering buy-in was $20, I'm sitting happy.

Our street had fireworks last night, all kept social distancing, now the clean up needs to take place.  It's a mess!

Aren't we all doing the same thing bad kitty.  I did make some stew this weekend.  Which normally I wouldn't make something like this because it's a winter food. But I had some stew meat in the ice box that needed to be used up.

We have a small pool, full of leaves again in winter.
I can not switch on the filter, the leaves block the flow.
Too much work for the little pleasure.

Have you tried a cover for it or even cut plastic to fit the top?  That's what we will do leading up to winter.

Yes, spent a lot of money on it, just for the seams to tear and the supplier to disappear.
We had it restitched, to find out the pool leaks and we had it fixed, 3rd time lucky.
All pipes replaced.
But hen they did not place the anchors in the same places and the cover sagged.
I put a tyre inner tube in the middle, still not good enough.
I bought two poles to put over the pool, worked well.
But now we are in the rainy season and the sail is waterproof, so it hangs heavy with water.
So I took it off.
Should have spent double for some better system.
