I can not help there.
I work for myself. I write my own off days on my calendar.

Nothing is really good forever.
In winter I have too much off days.
That is really bad for me.

Big joke, the animals in our streets and back yard.
The closest game park to us is a 90 minute drive.

I’m not into game photography, the competition is fierce, the hours long and one’s patients must be world class.

I would love photograph big animals, but right now today I only have a 50mm lens. AND there is no way I want to get close enough to frame a lion with that lens.  I'll wait till I can afford a 1000mm lens!  ha ha ha

My child worked close to the Kruger National park. I drove up to visit her.
I took my crop sensor camera. I have a 70-200 2.8 lens.
I bought a 2x converter.
She bought us a game drive.
Much better. There is a lot of them, so they tell one anther where the action is.
There were some lion I wish I had a longer lens for, but otherwise I was fine.

Zoo... The background is always a problem.
My heart bleeds for those captured animals.

I’m with bad kitty for the most part on the animals in the zoo, but some of the animals are rescues and will have a better life in the zoo.

True, Pinkie, but if I go to the zoo and look in their eyes, I do not see one looking thankful.
They all look depressed and sad.
