I am guessing that a D3 is a larger body than a D300, but as you can see I actually have two camera bodys with zoom lenses attached in there, plus lots of other bits n bobs, the beauty of this case is that you can customise it so easily to fit most photographers requirements, actual internal dimensions are 20.5" length - 11.375" width - 7.5" height and is rugged as any case I have ever come across.
