Congrats! I am sure you will do amazing! Like everyone said a good seamstress or tailor is a treasured commodity. 
My friend Lynne is also a seamstress and she gave up the corporate world 3or 4 years ago to follow her dream. She works right out of her house, is so freakin busy and is doing very well financially (which is saying a lot considering where we live) . My friend, you said you'd "try to start your own business..... just "DO IT", you've got what it takes and you're going to do Beautifully. ((((HUGS))))) to you !!!
