Where are you heading to? Mary Lou, Maggie and Gary allll....most went on Sunday to Temecula, but decided to relax and watch some movies instead.

End Game was a 10.  There are a number of really good movies coming out this summer too.

Had my first cold press coffee yesterday.  STRONG!  Is there a way to make cold press coffee at home?

Oh man, this has been a tough week.  Finally relaxing in the back ... fresh coffee, the fans on high, the Sunday paper.  Life is good.

Isn't that an understatement! Except no coffee for me, margaritas!

Well that isn't bad, how often are you getting out there Gary?

. We probably averaging about once a month (or so).  Temecula is on the edge of the desert, so in summer it gets pretty hot out there.  We go more often in Winter than in Summer. Tomorrow, Mary Lou, Maggie and Gary are heading up to Paso Robles Wine Country, Santa Rita Hills Wine Country and a special winery at the edge of Pinnacles National Park.  One winery we’ll be hitting is by appointment only.  Gary is excited about that winery which is small and the owner’s wife said we won’t be charged because they’ll be working all around us.  Gary is imagining some great photo ops getting them working the vineyard and/or the winery. We belong to three wineries in the Santa Rita Hills (best Pinots in the world) and a couple in Paso Robles (an incredible range of climates and soils).

Appointment only?  How are the prices for a place like that?

We have a wine tasking place up here that is appointment only.  That's because the one here, the husband and wife owners run this part time.  Very nice place though, a little pricey, but they have stuff from all around the world.
