The Coffee Shop: A place to relax and hang out.

You can drink coffee before going to bed?  Not me, I can't have coffee or tea for that matter in the afternoon.  I'll be up all night.  I'm usually 1-2 cups when I wake and I'm good for the day.

You must have some stories!

OMG do I!  ha ha ha I wouldn't even know where to begin with this response.  :P

Seeing this thread does remind me that I need to get some ground coffee as I'm nearly out!   Do you prefer dark or light roast yourself?

Light to medium.
My main gripe is boiling milk foam in my cappuccino. It makes the bean bitter and then my coffee needs sugar.

I'm more medium myself.  Will you ever drink your coffee black?

If I may join the discussion, I switched to black coffee 7 months ago. It took getting used too, but it's growing on me.  Every so often I put a couple spoons of sugar into it.

It is an open forum. Feel free to fall in.

Pinkie, I like my coffee with milk. If I had no milk, I will continue drinking coffee, but while milk is available, I see no reason...

Norse P, why did you stop milk in your coffee?

Oh, then have you had a Flat White before?  That's pretty yummy and uses frosted milk.  One of my favorite 'special coffee' drinks.

I started the morning with some fresh ground Texas Pecan coffee. So rich and full of flavor and aroma.

Pinkie, a cappuccino’s foam used to stand up high above the rum of the cup. It used to tickle the nose when you drink it. Then it came out with a lot less foam and called it a flat white. Now, if we order a cappuccino or flat white, we get the same thing.
