Off the beaten path is Chalone Vineyard. Make that way off the beaten path is Chalone at the border with Pinnacles National Park. But it was all worth the drive. The wines are delish and the Winery is build in a Live Oak Coastal Woodland. Beautiful. The stairs leading from the parking to the tasting room is literally built through and supported by an oak. All the grapes are sourced from their vineyards. Most wineries will commingle grapes from different vineyards.
