New Hawaii 5-0 or old one?

Alex started a thread about the new movie, the Mechanic. I replied that I didn't think the old classic should be copied. Then I remembered this year's new TV series, Hawaii 5-0. For those of us old enough to remember the original with Jack Lord, which one gets your vote.

I have to go back on my own post to Alex and say, in this case, the new one is pretty good. I'm not sure it's better, but it's at least as good.

Any opinions?

Each of them have their own merits I like the new one. But it ain't Hawaii 5-0 without Don Ho.

But yes the new one is defintiely good. In comparison the old one didn't have the advantages that todays tv does.

I stick with the originals. They're classic. Once in awhile a remake will surprise me, but not often.

Meh. Too many remakes theses days. The nostalgic thing has worn off, Holywood. Quit going for the box office draw, and make some more original thangs.

I liked the original 5-0. I remember seeing the reruns when I was a kid. Haven't seen the remakes yet.

Book em Danno
