Umm you do know most people talk like that. Example:

"I am a ninja"

I think you mean "People that talk about them self in the third person."

Example: "Stealthy Ninja thinks this is a good idea" or the more famous "Bob Dole likes your style".

2nd person is like you're addressing the audience (the "you" point of view). Reads like a guided tour or a museum or something.

Missing a sale by one day and they won't give me the sale price, but if I had bought it within 7 days "before" the sale, they'd refund the difference.

Sure, practice makes perfect but, unless you learn from your mistakes, you are only perfecting your ability to fail.
