eryck, don't forget to click "insert" when you upload a picture, or else it won't show up without clicking.

I've done it for you this time, but try to remember next time. :)

Just to the right of "Remove File"

Picture looks a little bland. Perhaps you should have waited for the plane to get closer or something. Right now it looks like a dot in the sky and the scenery around isn't strong enough to hold much interest. :)

Better sky would have made it much better - but what are you gonna do? Planes make wonderful subjects, especially if they are being shown off in the air. Composition is good - the plane in the upper, right third and the horizon level. I think on a different day with either a closer subject or a longer lens you would have a nice shot - but that was then and this is now. I would bump the contrast and darken it a bit just to remove some of the "blandness" Adrian mentioned. Then remember this shot the next time you visit this place and hope the plane returns again.

Here is one I took on the same day as you :) with the same grey skies which make the water grey too... I've exaggerated the adjustments to illustrate the points above. I also cooled the temp to give it more blues.

i guess that why I called this topic the great blue, amphibian plans are all about open blue sky and water which should be blue, but a storm was building up and the skies were grey what can you do?

Thats a pretty cool illustration of your photo editing, I can see the before and after and its not not a weight loss add, thanks for that.

@ chasrich bumped up the contrast and darkened it a bit, any considerable difference?
