30 Days of Tuscany- Day 26 - Montalcino

10 years 8 months ago - 10 years 8 months ago #294129 by Tuscan Muse
Montalcino sits in the heart of all the vineyards that produce Brunello wine, one of Italy’s best and most favorite. The town takes its name from a variety of oak tree that once covered the terrain. The very high site of the town offers stunning views over the Asso, Ombrone and Arbia valleys of Tuscany, dotted with silvery olive orchards, vineyards, fields and villages. This village is always a favorite during our workshops and tours. I think the free wine tastings offered at all the shops might have something to do with that!

#2 could be a lot of fun for bringing out detail.

#3 also, since the walls are so much a part of the framing. This is a tough situation to manage, I know.
