And then there was light! I really dig this photo and I think the composition with the light and the guy in red coat make this a very interesting shot.

Thanks Eliffman,
It was actually shot on ektachrome slide film and scanned (before I layed my old film camera to rest) hence the bump in contrast, the original was more even toned

I was gonna say it's a cool shot, but maybe a bit over cooked. Then I read you used film and I understand why it looks like that now.

That's one of the locations in the old bucket list I'd like to travel too. Now how long of a hike is it to this location?

No hike at all, unless you want it be, You can do the inca trail 3 days, 6 days depending or just stay at the town below the ruins which i normally do, there is a tourist bus that winds its way up and in 15 minutes or so your right there.

At my age, that's the route I's have to take...LOL...I've always been fascinated by Machu Picchu though.

Was thinking the same thing. I'd like to see it in person though. You know how scans go sometimes. :kmonst:

Looks like one heck of a hike.

You don't have to hike the trail but you'd miss so much! The trail is beautiful and there are ruins all along the way. This is Winay Wayna
