Suggested camera strap for Nikon D7500?

5 years 6 months ago #609401 by Ken Brun
I still have the original camera strap Nikon sent with my D7500 and it's not really comfortable.  I see many photographer around with different straps they are using.

What would you suggest as a good camera strap for this camera?

Thank you

Ken

The actual camera model is kinda irrelevant. If you put a 70-200 on that you'll see that the weight of the lens is what matters.

You don't mention budget.

That said... you need to figure out what type of system might work best for you. There are recent discussions on here about inexpensive products; go find and read. You could consider something from Black Rapid/Optech/Upstrap Pro, and others. It depends upon what you like. You can buy into a system like Peak Design, although I'm not a fan for DSLRs. And there are many other choices.

But yeah, ditch the neckstrap. They should stop giving those out, period.

I use a wrist saftey loop from Upstrap Pro, a Black Rapid Sport, and I got a Sypder Holster recently. All have different purposes.

If I can stay under $50-70 would be awesome.  Not sure what I can get for that, but that's my budget.  I'm going to check out that article, thank you.

That gives you quite a few options. Do some research.
