Downloading onto a computer

My friend came over last night and we tried to download her pictures onto my computer. my camera download software wouldn't work with her pics, but it works fine with mine. How come?

What software are you using, camera, cord or card reader ? if it's a usb cord or a card that is the same as yours should not have issues but need a little more info to diagnose the problem

Agreed, we need more info.

When the last candle has been blown out

You don't say what brand of camera your friend has or what your camera is. Usually Nikon download software doesn't work with other manufacturers, and vice versa. Have your friend bring the software that came with her camera to your house and install it on your computer. Then you shouldn't have any problem.

That must be the problem. Thanks. She has a fujifilm camera and I was trying to use my sister's canon software. Thanks for the help.

Oh goodness me, I didn't realize you could put photos on a computer. I've been buying a lot of cards and bringing them to Wallmart to get printed.

LOL yeah, you can put them on your computer. Your camera should have come with a cable you can plug into your camera so you can put them onto your computer.
