Dead ivy lightpole

5 years 5 months ago #613145 by NewavaMike
So there's this light pole in town that I'm mesmerized by every time I go past it.  It appears that ivy had been growing up it for a very long time wrapping its tentacle vines thicker and thicker,  until someone cut the growth a couple feet above the ground.  The thing is, they  left all the pole growth to die in place where it has clung for who knows how many years.  Anyways, it's a weird and beautiful sight especially on a stormy day.

The spookiness is more noticeable as halloween decoration, maybe? :P

Light is free… capturing it is not!

It was such a long thing to fit in frame as I really wanted the tangled dead ivy growing on the pole to be clearly seen
