One day... maybe.

I almost bought this. Got the fuji x-pro 1 instead.

I would love this lens, but I couldn't really justify it with the amount of portraits I do.

It's easily the best 85mm on the market. Sell a kidney.

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk

Alas, I have the 85 1.8 which is also a lovely lens for the price. I've seen some reviews suggesting that it's the best value lens in Canon's line-up. Maybe one day I'll have enough for an L lens, but the 85 probably won't be the first.
