What lens should I buy for my Canon T4i?

11 years 2 months ago #273659 by Chris Ly
I have a Canon t4i with 50mm f/1.8 and 100mm f/2.8 lenses so far. I have another $875 to spend on a lens and I'm not sure what to get. I'm new to photography so don't have any specific area of focus other than I've been doing a lot of practicing. I was told I should go with a Sigma lens because I can get more for my money. Then other reviews advise to stick with Canon.

I'm not sure what would be a good buy at this point. Considering what lenses I have already, what would be a good complimenting lens that fits in my budget to get?

Really appreciate the help.
Chris

So 50mm is your widest lens??? Man, that would kill me! Of course this depends on what you like to shoot (or wish you could shoot!). Links to lots of thoughts -
