I had tried that long ago. I have been a photographer since 1985 and It wasn't blur from movement. It was just a crap camera. Finally found the cure. SOLD The lens and camera separately and got a CANON!!!! Nikon d5000 was an EPIC FAIL!!! After being DIE HARD NIKON OWNER for 30 years Their CHEAP CRAPPY consumer cameras have finally made a CANON fan out of me. I would have never dreamed it but it was a great final solution to a problem I was battling for over a year now. I got a T3i and I LOVE IT!!! Best buy I have ever made!!!

At the risk of jumping in late, did you ever just set up a actual test with impeccable settings and technique? You know, like f/8, plenty of light, high shutter speed, tripod, etc... and then determine if the camera was really at fault?

I mean, it's one thing to have a whole slew of photos go bad due to bad settings and bad technique ... it's a whole 'nother thing when you eliminate everything but the camera as being the cause of the issue.

At that level there really isn't that much difference in cameras. It's all in your head. You just got a lemon.
