How to increase speed of Mavic Pro Platinum

2 years 6 months ago #552806 by digitalpimp
Hey guys, I just picked up a Mavic Pro Platinum and seem to be getting top speed of 39 MPH.  Is there anything I can do to increase the speed?

Have you tried the carbon fiber props?  From what I understand, they don't flex and you can get a little more speed from them.

I don't know about that, reports I've read suggest 20-25% reduction in speed with carbon fiber props.  Plus they don't break on impact as easily as the stock ones.

You can bump up the voltage, keep in mind that will drain batteries and likely mess with other safety features on the drone.  So do at your own risk.

True, but this way could damage the drone if not careful.

Honestly for most people, I wouldn't mess with the coding of these things.  DJI has all sorts of safety coded into one of these.  If something happens because the code hack you did, messed with one of the sensors or other safety feature, and someone is hurt, the finger will be pointed at you.

Not fast enough?  I wouldn't mess with the code of it either.
