Is this HDR, you tell me?

C&C are welcome

It's not just the camera, it's what you think and see!

Yes it is, I can tell by the sky.

It does have some punchyness to it, but I think if it was a HDR you would see less shadows?

Look at the trees top right. Haloing...dead give away.

By the look of it....I would say that it is not a true HDR photo, it looks like a single photo that has gone through a single photo process to look like HDR, as a guess I would say that HDR Efex Pro has been used with a preset filter....i may be wrong. Just my opinion

The sky is gray. It looks darkened, but assuming that it's somewhat accurate to reality, and this photo was taken on an overcast day, then it's unlikely that the scene was a high DR scene.

Some sort of local contrast enhancement has been applied. That could have been done with a variety of software or techniques including common HDR software or sharpening techniques. Local contrast adjustment, although often used with, is not the same as HDR.

My guess is that the sky was selected and darkened ( and the trees above the house were added to the selection )...look at the reflection in the window.

What you are is so loud, I can't hear a word you say!

Does it matter? It's not really a very compelling or appealing image.
