What version of Photoshop did you get started on?

Watching that other Photoshop post here had me thinking about how long it's been.  I want to say it was around 2001 that I got started with Photoshop 6.0

What about you?

G'day Amy

I'm happy enough with PS Elements - it gives me heaps more tools than I will ever need. Started with v5, went to v8, then to v11 - hated the new menu / screen layout so erased it and returned to v8. It'll do me

ps- I also use ULead photoexpress for some functions that do not exist in PS - a great bit of under-rated software

I want to say 6.5.  This is a good question.  I need to go back and check.  I know the version I picked up, was even a delay from an earlier version that I did nothing with.  So if 6.5 is the case, it was 6.0 that I bought Photoshop for first time.
