What's your thoughts regarding heavily AI generated image content?

I just started playing around with the AI this last week so I don't want to come across as something I'm not.  But it's pretty interesting with the results I've gotten so far.  On that topic, some results from AI are really tacky, but a couple have been scary good IMHO.

So my question stems from being in the industry for as long as I have.  Remember when HDR first came out?  While it was super popular with the masses, many frowned on it.  Is AI in the same boat?

Digital photography, AI - it's all imitation imaging to me. Pretty interesting what's been done and where it's going, though.

Partially agree, but AI is really what will evolve during the next few years.   I think we are going to see a major shift in photography in some form during this time.  Hold on tight I say!

World of photography is changing.  I'm on the fence about it, but that is because I don't understand AI.  Perhaps if I knew how to use it, I might be more respective or carry an opinion.

Eh, to each their own.  It doesn't bother me at all.  After all, photography is heading that direction so either jump on the boat or remain in what may become the next photography dark age.

As long as it's used and there is full transparency , vs person taking credit for the image as all original
