I have been offered $50 plus photo credit for one of my shots. It will be one of several images on the cover of a training book. I'm flattered that the company wants one of my shots, but I have no idea what these things are worth. I'm probably going to accept their offer as given, but would appreciate your feedback.

Congrats! and $50 sounds about right. I wouldn't ask for more, as they may decline your shot altogether.

Congrats!

Make sure you get a written contact stating the use of the photo. Yes, it will be on the cover, but if the contract isn't worded right, they may use it elsewhere and you are out on that $.

That's what I was thinking, this is my first photo to get a cover on anything. So I am probably going to accept their offer.

Congratulations. That's a resume builder so it's worth more than the actual dollar amount.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.
