A couple shots....

from Saturday's "photo expedition". A co-worker LOVES this old house. I got a photo of it & made him a 5 X 7.

I saw this at an Amish quilt shop & thought it would make a nice photo. I just can't decide on "more fence or less fence". Any opinions?

Cool looking house. Your area is great for finding Amish farms.
I say "More" fence. I draws the eye farther into the scene. Nice composition.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Really Cool ! shots, love 1 & 2..... the house has so much character, actually it would look cool in HDR.... :judge:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Thank you both.

I don't know how to do HDR. I did in fact do a gray scale & sepia of both the house & fence.

I say more fence. Less fence makes it feel like my eye stops too abruptly.

I also say "more fence", but not as much as you have. I'd go somewhere in between. I think the way you have it nowileads the eye quickly out of the shot, and loses impact:cheers:
