Note the "bulls-eye" lenses on this one as opposed to the ones I posted. The "bulls-eye" directs a beam of light so when the it rotates, it appears to flash. The other style projects a steady, flat beam, hence the red panel. The West Point light just a solid beam. Reflectors send the light toward the sea and away from the land side.
