Classic Plane Fraud

This plane was shot in St.Annes.
During WW2 Lytham and St.Annes town folk raised money for their very own Spitfire to help the war effort.
There were many plane flying this day, they were based across the River Ribble at the Southport Air Show, too far away to drive to with no river crossing.
So I improvised.

To my shame the pictures are a fraud they give the impression the plane was flying and i took some good shots.

The reality is very different.

Hangs his head in shame.

Much obliged Bay, fairly straight forwards, but getting right motion blur on the prop was iffy.

Kelly,

It's a faithful reproduction and I think a thing of beauty, if you forget its reason for being of course.

I always think planes look best when they are flying. These are super even with the invisible tether. Great editing job - I need to work harder on my projects like this. It pays off in the finished product. :judge: :judge: :judge:
