I was standing at the base of the sculpture shooting straight up with a wide angle, but I see your point.

I really like what you are going for here.  These are the kinds of shots I like to take.  I think many times people forget to look up.  I like the contrast of the two blue windowed buildings with the red in the middle.  I wonder if next time you could center the sculpture between the two buildings giving a little more of a symmetrical feel to the photo and kind of acting as a frame for the sculpture.  Good job
