I like these.... they are each unique in their own way.  I have also thought about giving this a whirl a few times.  I bought an IR filter a long while back, thinking, "Ok, let's give it a try".  I was in for a rude awakening when I started to learn more about it, haha.  I'll  be Screamin for more of these Scott.

For some reason,  the B&W image has more impact to me .  Was the conversion done in camera or post-process ?
