Flowers -n- Stuff

Such a beautiful place. I shot this with my Nikon D70 with my 80-200 f/4.5 AI'd this afternoon about 3:00pm. Nice overcast sky, shot in manual using "sunny 16" rule for metering.

It is what it is.

The purple and reds are lupines. They are in bloom across the bay from here but are just coming up here. Can't wait.
Barry - this would make a super 11 x 14 matted and on the wall.

Shoot, learn and share. It will make you a better photographer.

Thanks Scott,

Couldn't agree more, but we only had about a half hour before I had to get Jennifer to her doctor's appointment. I didn't bring a macro lens, but did manage a close up.......

I'm really not much of a botanist either, the flowers make great subjects though!

Lol, funny that you should say that.... Jennifer and I are going to matte one up to hang on our wall in the den. Lupines really are beautiful, can't wait to get back to this garden! :cheer:
