This is a channel between North & South Lake Leelanau in the town of Lake Leelanau in Northern Michigan. The red boathouse was just constructed and is going to be a tasting room on the water for a new winery on the peninsula.

It strikes me that you tried to get too much into this image. The boathouses seem crowded to the edges of the frame. If you could have zoomed out or stepped back, getting all this stuff in frame would feel more comfortable.

It also looks as though there are 3 individual comps here - each of the boathouses, and the white house set back into the trees. Especially the red boathouse. That beautiful reflection is a plus, and the dock out front makes a great leading line into the building - especially if you position the building at the right-hand 1/3 of the image.
