Yeah the tilt is killing it for me.

Well done. I can see where people are saying it's tilted, but makes me wonder about something. Is it actually straight to the world and only tilted to our eyes?

Think about it.

Bridges are usually made going up and coming back down. The bridge may make the photo look tilted to the eye, because the far side is going down. Plus this shot was taken at an angle, along the side line of the stream, so that itself could make a photo appear tilted. If it was shot dead on, (needing to be in the water) there is a better chance of the photo/bridge appearing to the eye to be straight, not tilted.

I think if you look at the horizon line of the water beyond the bridge, that's where the tilt becomes most obvious. I think the whole image would look better if that line was straight. And if the highlights in the rocks and clouds were not blown.

I agree, it's the horizon not the bridge.

Thanks for all the tips and comments everyone. Next time I'm over at this bridge I'm going to try out some other angles. This happens to be what I thought looked good, but if there's a better angle... I'm game! :)

Have a great holiday everyone!

There's a lot of HDR photo's being posted around the web lately and so many of them, while great to look at, are fairly sureal. This one, however, hasn't been overdone so congrats to you. Love the green river contrasting with the clouds and patches of blue sky.

The statement is pointless. The finger is speechless.
