Did you run those skies through a polarizing filter - nice clear blue look. Love the scenery you bring us. :judge: :judge: :judge:

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

Nice. I like the leading line of the rivers edge but I feel it needs something in the foreground to anchor the image. A boulder, stump or a clump of flowers would work nicely.

You guys are so sweet, thank you so much! Rich, I didn't have my polarizer at the time I shot this, most likely I had a neutral density filter on (I don't use that much now unless I'm shooting waterfalls). John, you are absolutely correct....I didn't shoot this yesterday....(unfortunately....what I wouldn't give for weather like This) Randy, I actually had part of the beach on the far right but I cropped it out cause I didn't think it looked right. I'll mess around with the original when I get a few and post it up for you . :)

Randy, here is the original before I cropped out the lower right-thought it would just be a distraction.... Does This work??

No, you were correct in cropping it. Many times the one thing a person needs in an image to put it over the top is just not there. The image needs a dominant object in the foreground in my opinion, but there was no object to place there so you did the best you could with what you had. That doesn't make it a bad image or take anything away from you as a photographer. Sometimes you just have to shoot what's there but also be on the lookout for the ideal scene.

I like it. It seems underexposed though.
