Ahaaa a "legitimate use of long exposure in landscapes? I like it. The colours are good and the in frame framing is nice. In many cases don't they put waterfalls in dark places, unless you are in Yosemite of course. It always leaves my cascade shots flat and dull. Come to think of it, thats my style lol
In desperation I have tried desaturating on occasion, hope you don't mind me attaching
this poor example.
Regards
Ned

OK... Enough of the gorgeous waterfalls. Unless you are willing to send me some mountains and running water you are just killing this Florida flat lander with envy.

You might not want to come today or tomorrow though, it snowed overnight, just a dusting but Everything is white out there. Supposed to get more crap tonight too......:(

Great shot my friend... Love the colors... One thing I feel though is that I am falling... Don't know what it is, but I do. :judge:

I keep coming back to your waterfall-it's inspiring and makes me miss being in the mountains of Tennessee and Colorado

Thank you all so much, you are very kind. Joie, I felt the same way when I was shooting this, it's a 25-30 ft. drop from the top of the falls to the bottom. You want to be darn sure you're not feeling dizzy when you're shooting this, it drops off Real quick. That's nice Rob, I'm glad I posted it . :)
