One certainly brings benefits to the other. I do the same with dual sport motorcycling. Rides give me therapy, but they also get me to places I might not go to otherwise for some great shots.

Great idea! Hope to see some cool pics soon.

You will not be judged as a photographer by the pictures you take, but by the pictures you show.

You have some dust spots on the left you'll want to clone out. Looks like a fun trip.

I really love this shot....when I saw it, it made me smile.

Love the pop of color in the center of the shot.

Nature photography is my favorite niche

It also happens to be my best niche

But personally when I think nature photography, I think details. Anything that shows a scene is a landscape to me but I don't know just my opinion

I like doing nature photography best too, Jacob....real and imagined. One thing I like doing is purposely taking a terrible shot and then fixing it up as a way to learn about editing. The results of most of these are places I wish existed. (I like to treat architecture this way as well...turn things I've seen into places I wish existed.) Fun stuff!

Here's an example..a shot taken near a Wendy's Drive-Thru turned into an illustration for Robert Graves' The White Goddess..
