Our industrial age, both old and new in one picture.

The Irish round tower replica is built in memory of James Chaine who developed and built our harbour and railroads. The three chimneys are that of Ballylumford power station which provides half of our country's electricity.

This is a stunning use of light and pattern. The pattern of the clouds seems to balance and almost echo the pattern of the smokestacks. I like the subtle variations of shadow and light, especially the way it transitions across the sky. Beautiful photo.
