Wow! And #1 is a nice example of when putting the horizon at the middle of the frame can work to best advantage. Even though that is usually cited as a composition no-no.

Thanks Kelly.
I don't really think about all the rules when I compose for Landscape shots (maybe my brain can't process that quick or I can't do multi-task lol), so I just go with what looks good and easy to the eyes :)

I'm exactly the same. My only firm "rule" is to try to level the camera.

I don't know what's wrong with me but I have a lot of trouble trying to keep the camera level.
So most of my leveling are done in post production.

I've found that the camera can be a big factor. With my big ole Canon 50D I get a much higher percentage of level shots than with my lightweight Oly PEN.

I also frame the pic till it feels balanced, but to tell others that do not 'feel' the balance, one needs to teach them basics.
It is only when the sky foreground has equal space on the image that they create uneasiness by fighting for supremacy.
The fact that the lowest point of the horison comes down to the middle does not worry here.

Sorry, struggle to express myself in my second language.

Great shots, by the way.
