As the title says...Since some members have asked for input on this camera, I'll mention that the first three were taken with the Nikon D7100, ISO 400, with either a 17-35mm f/2.8 or a 15mm f/3.5 Ais. Please, click the photos for a better view. All comments welcome!

Assuming that it is ok for the Grasshopper to compliment the Guru... Wow John! Spectacular!! I hope one day to know just why these images are so wonderful. Until then, I'll be content to just admire them.

Wow, John, these images are truly superb: the exposure, composition, point of view...everything is just perfect! I particularly love the colours reflected in the last image.

I think the first two are particularly stunning. I like the use of light and the pattern and the many shades of color. Even though the shades of gold are subtle I think the shiny texture makes the tones pop. Beautifully done.

Thank you, Sharon! I'd very much like to hear your thoughts on No4- it's not the sort of thing I usually do, but those reflections seemed to call for something different. :)

Great work, John.
I do not care for the 3rd image as much as the others.
I love the 4th one. I see it printed 4x6m in an ultramodern villa.

Thank you, David! My daughter and granddaughter live in Seattle, so I'm a frequent visitor, despite the distance. :)
