So almost any camera can do, a 550d with the kit lens at 18mm f3.5 would be ok though its not the best lens.
FF body and fast wide prime is the best.
Focused on photography
These are fabulous, and astrophotography is probably my favorite genre, probably because I get so few opportunities. Also, New Zealand is definitely on my bucket list.......
