I love cityscapes and i think you did a great job compositionally and w/the color alterations. It's a good effect.
There is some haloing going on though... Some really like the halo effect, but for myself, it takes away from the photo.
Your composition, lighting, and color i'm a big fan of

I love NYC. I didnt think i would like it when i went but i absolutely loved it!

I love looking at others images. Mostly because I can learn from them and get ideas. I like all of these shots and think the composition was well done.

This one begs to have the photographer to crawl closer to the statue at the bottom and get a more vertical perspective... but then again, I get scolded for some of my ideas. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comments, I guess the halo is from over sharping? is that right?

I'm not sure what causes haloing.. I still live in the stone age  and shoot film. I'm sure somebody on here knows and will answer that.

@ Karl- I guess I'm with you as I call my film camera the dinosaur, I took it to the rink to let a student I am tutoring use it to shoot a couple of rolls of a game, can't wait to see his prints !
Never been to NYC but loved the pix of the Empire State building and the one on the corner that looks triangular

I went to NYC over spring break, and instead of making a new thread for the 1 photo that I wanted to post badly, I'm just going to post it in here if that's okay.

Question:

I feel like it isn't straight, but I can't get it quite right with PS, any suggestions on programs to straighten it?
