Circle vs rectangle flash head - does it matter?

I'm looking different flashes for my Nikon D810 and noticing flash heads are either circles or rectangles, does it make a difference?

In technical terms, no. I practical term, yes.

The main difference is that some head will have a zoom
to focus the beam of light… a benediction or a curse.

I have both and feel I'm double blessed.

Light is free… capturing it is not!

Have you ever had trouble finding accessories that fit the round head?  Diffusers etc?

No, my A1's and A10's are perfectly compatible
with the rest of the system… and more.

Light is free… capturing it is not!
