This is a great idea. I have a real tiny tree with fiber optics and miniature decorations. I'm wondering what it would look like if I shot it with a lens baby.

I get into trouble with this all the time! Strictly speaking, macro is defined as a magnification of 1:1 (or more) onto the camera film or sensor. So if your sensor is 1 inch across, then the object needs to be 1 inch or less and fill the image. A macro lens normally goes up to 1:1 at its closest point. Of course, this means that any image where the object is slightly further away than the minimum difference is not a macro shot either!

Good shot though. Possible a bit of over exposure in the brightest part of the decoration - but it is hard to tell from a small view.
