Ugh, Ebay is blocked at work....what lens is it??

Nikon D200
Nikon 50mm f1.8D, Tokina 28-80 f2.8, Nikon 75-300, Sigma 18-200, Nikon SB-600, Nikon SB-25, Promaster triggers

I had a 70-210mm lens, its a decent telephoto. It is not a true macro lens though....I think that others will agree with me when I recommend to not buy this if you want to start getting into macro.

Take a look at some of the Micro-Nikkors or a Tamron 90mm.

It is what it is.

the ones they seem to be pushing alot right now on ebay are these
SUPER HD WIDE ANGLE FISHEYE MACRO LENS 0.43X FOR NIKON D100 D90 D80 D70 D60

and a
0.34X WIDE FISHEYE MACRO LENS + CLEANING PEN + MICROFIBER FOR NIKON D50 D70

and
Nikon AF Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6 lens W/ MACRO F5

Hi Michael,
Neither of these are "True" macro lenses. If your goal is to shoot real macro, I'd suggest saving for a proper lens, such as these:
Nikon Macro Lenses , or Tamron Macro Lenses . Since I shoot Canon, I can't give you the specific ones which are compatible with your body, but maybe someone who shoots Nikon can jump in...

If these are out of price range, then consider getting a set of inexpensive auto-extension tubes which can be found new at online sites for around $50.00. The tubes work with most 50mm to 100mm lenses. But if wanting to use them with a "Kit zoom lens" double check compatibility.

they are for the time being maybe ina few months when i get more money for the meantime i got that hybrid Nikon AF Nikkor 70-210mm f/4-5.6 lens W/ MACRO F5 so will see what i can do with it only cost me 90.00
