Found this little guy dead in the garage, so I figure......why not haha. Not the best but still fun to play with.

Cool looking little fly/bee! Love the coloration.......Live ones are a lot harder to shoot....I got a rather large spider today that I'll be taking some snaps of when I get a chance...

Great shot. I am still learning and recently bought a canon t3i and have been looking at inexpensive options for macros. I read about using reversing rings is this what you used? Also, if you wouldn't mind checking some of my macro pics and suggest a lense or brand of reversal ring as this is a passionate hobby so I need to be practical, lol. Thanks

Thanks and I made my own reversing ring out of a filter step up ring, a body cap ans some super glue lol. I will also take a look at your macros lol.

Guess I should mention that since I hae been reading the macro section that mine are "fake" , that is I guess thy are technically close-ups since they were done with my Olympus p&s. All my albums are with that camera, and the album "flowers" isthe one I am speaking of, and the dogis not myopic but very cute! Lol.
