As always, the clarity of the shot is stunning. Nicely done. Looks like its trying to mimic a bee of sorts, strange one for sure.

Actually, it is called a Bee Fly... It's one of the smaller ones.

Still using the Lester Dine? Illumination looks really nice in this image what are you using for flash.

I enjoy watching these. The have the ability to hover in a stationary spot much like a humming bird. Nice work my friend...

Yes, still using the Lester Dine lens along with a Lester Dine ring/point light. Lights up the subject nicely unless the subject has a hard, reflective exoskeleton. Then I get specular highlights & reflections of the ring light.
