not butterflies for bugs....

I love all the insect photos but what I drew me to trying some macro shots was my reef aquarium. This leather coral was in my tank.and one of my 1st tries.   Taking pictures of underwater critters through glass has proven to be a task for sure! Though I no longer have my big tank I still love going to the aquariums so many little things most people don't even see... anyone else?

Like this a lot.... Yes, there are many other choices when it comes to macro subjects. I'm attaching an image of some lichen & fungi on a tree branch. Kinda looks like something you would find in an aquarium...

These are some creative topics to shoot.  The second one I thought was some coral from the bottom of the sea!

Good stuff here.

Brilliant colors. I always get a kick out of the macro work people post on this site, if I had the proper gear I would love to try it out.

Nice to see things mixed up a bit! Everything underwater is mesmerizing, cool to see someone experimenting with it!
