From the Cataloochee Valley in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park ... Elk were reintroduced to the Smokies and are doing well. They have even stopped "tagging and collaring" the elk that are born in the valley.

Where the hell have you been? I was asking about you the other day. One of my favorite wildlife photographers on the site.

When the last candle has been blown out
and the last glass of champagne has been drunk
All that you are left with are the memories and the images-David Cooke.

Must be hard dragging them out like that. I bet they are HEAVY! ;)

The other one you missed while you were gone. Someone asked how to take wildlife photos, and the idea of spreading birdseed was mentioned. It works.
