A few of my horse (panning)

I had a play around with panning when my horse was running around the arena. I never really seen many horse+panning shots so I think they are quite unique!

Your panning looks good from where I am looking, nice crisp horse and a background that shows the movement :judge: :judge: :judge:

I think you were on the money with the technique. The horse is crisp and clear, even to the catchlights in his eye. Show maybe a bit more background to anchor your shot? That is strictly my personal humble contribution, however.

Otherwise, wonderful. I wish my first attempts looked like this!

Ahhhhh..... I love horses and you have captured them beautifully. I love them both, very well done! :)

You found the sweet spot on the shutter speed. A bit faster and you lose some of the movement blur. A bit slower and the horse becomes impossible to capture sharp. Try using a background that is farther away from the horse and open the lens up some more. You might get even more blur effect with a slightly faster shutter. Really good job and yes - they are unique. :judge:  :woohoo:

Thanks a lot guys, I really do appreciate the feedback. I was going to try some more tomorrow but the weather in Scotland doesn't look too promising! Maybe next weekend.
