Once upon a midnight dreary...

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

I like the composition of #1 as the bird has
a 3/4 profile so we get a better look at him.
The lighting seems best.
(personally, I would remove the post in front of him . . . . ?)

Thanks!

My, my .... what a great difference !
Now I can concentrate on the bird.
I still prefer #2 for the better lighting (around his eye/beak).
